Dr. Dimple Kapoor
Dr. Dimple Kapoor has received her Doctorate in Optometry from the prestigious New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She has extensive experience in diagnosis and treatment of various eye diseases, geriatric vision disorders as well as special interest in sports and related vision issues in athletes. She practices the medical model of optometry using state of the art, modern, computerized equipment and analytical techniques to provide the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of eye diseases. She is known for her specialty in fitting contact lenses to patients such as orthokeratology and keratoconus lenses using latest contact lens technology. Along with her husband and three children, she resides in South Riding and enjoys travel, cooking and good books.
Dr. Alicia Krupa
Dr Krupa graduated from the Prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2008 with her Doctor of Optometry Degree. She also attended the The Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Sience degree in Biology and Nutrition back in 2001. Dr. Krupa has held a number of positions before joining Eye and Vision Care back in the spring of 2013. This includes working with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, and various Institutes specializing in Refractive Surgery in the DC Metro Area.
Dr. Krupa specializes in Ocular disease and pathology, which includes helping those with diabetes, autoimmune disease, and glaucoma. She is also skilled in the use of specialty contacts to help those who have corneal degenerations, incorrect surgical outcomes, and degenerative myopia to help restore and create the best vision possible for her patients.
Dr. Krupa was an Honored member of the Cambridge Who’s Who registry fo Executive professionals and Entrepeneurs, Top 10 VIP Optometrists of the year in 2009-2010. Dr. Krupa takes pride in her work and strives to help her patients understand and better care for the health of their eyes.
Dr. Sylvia Briceno
Dr. Briceno completed a residency in primary care at the Boston VA Medical Center after graduating from New England College of Optometry. She worked at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center for ten years training students and residents of optometry. In 2002, Dr. Briceno opened her own private practice in Brighton, Massachusetts which she sold 8 years later to be able to move close to her family in Virginia.
Her professional interests include treatment and management of ocular disease including chronic conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration. Dr. Briceno specialized in hard to fit contact lenses including the use of scleral lenses for the correction of keratoconus and other irregular corneal conditions.
Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Briceno is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. She lives in Vienna and frequently rides with her kids on the W&OD trail. She also enjoys traveling and gardening. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association.
